Spikes (high outliers) in some LEPT and LEMPA rates started occurring around 2023 day 130. The PL01 rate has the most spikes followed by PL02, CH31 and Eβ′1. The spikes originally occurred mostly in motor steps 3 and 7 when the motor is stepping down and in step 6 when the motor is stepping up. It is unclear why the spikes have a preferred motor direction and why they occur in steps 3, 6 and 7. The rate spikes stopped after the USO was turned off in July, 2024. Note that rates 1, 13, 46 and PL01 are noisier after the USO off date than they were before the rate spikes started. NOTE THAT THE LEPT SINGLES RATES ARE MULTIPLEXED SO, FOR EXAMPLE, E2 MAY BE READ OUT IN STEPS 7 DOWN AND 2 UP FOR A WHILE THEN IN STEPS 7 UP AND 2 DOWN AT A LATER TIME. KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN LOOKING AT THE SINGLES PLOTS. See the LEPT and LEMPA rate plots for a longer term view of the rates
There are spikes in each triple rate in the PL01, PL02 and CH31 triple rates. Eβ′1_1 is the only Eβ′1 triple that has spikes
